Personalize your Mat

What are your dreams?

Vital Yoga is a place of amazing energy. Experience the sound of Om that resonates throughout the Highland's studio after we have been tested by Ms. Desi's Friday morning music class. Witness the dedication Ms. Micah evokes with her dharma talks and her sharp eye on our alignment. In the echoes of Om, we all walk away energized, renewed and inspired. It is bliss. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

It occurred to me that as practioners we spend a lot of time on our mats. Every day we practice yoga, we set an intention for ourselves, our lives, and our community. Because symbols support us by helping us concentrate and visualize what we want, it makes sense that our mat would be an ideal point of focus, a gateway for dreams.

Many of you have seen my art at Vital Yoga's Highland studio. The entryway mural and the Vitality Center signs are samples of my work. (You may also see art samples at www.mondo-mehndi.com.) Now, after extensive product development and testing, Mehndi Visions, LLC, a.k.a. Mondo Mehndi, is open for business. I want to help you achieve your vision with a personalized design for your yoga mat.

What do you want to attract? Peacocks represent love, luck, passion, prosperity and protection. Koi represent self-transformation. Ganesha helps create the faith that removes all obstacles. Om is.

So tell me, what are your dreams? Unroll the magic in your practice with a custom Mondo Mehndi mat. For appointments or scheduling, please e-mail info@mondo-mehndi.com.

Thank you everyone for all of your support.

Namasté,
Dawn Skipp

New mats may be purchased through Vital Yoga's [retail center], or your clean yoga mat can be a perfect canvas. Special projects are always considered. See my art gallery, or select from T-shirts, and other gift items online at www.mondo-mehndi.com.

Costa Rica Rental Property

My husband and I have been a part of Vital Yoga for several years now and when we had the opportunity to look for a property in Costa Rica for future retirement, we wanted a place that was reflective of the things that are important to us: tranquility, environment, good food and a connection with the outdoors and yoga as well.
The tiny village of Nosara offers all this and more. It is located on the southern tip of the Guanacaste Peninsula on the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica.
The beaches there are unspoiled, jungle forest comes right up to the beach as there is a 300 ft easement and no building is allowed close to the water.
The Nosara Yoga Institute is what drives much of the economy in this small town. It offers not only teacher-training classes but also several daily yoga classes for the public. The grounds of the Institute are a series of brick stairs and pathways that wind from the town and through the jungle and are wonderful to explore and walk.
Vegetarian options abound in the various good restaurants, although our families' favorite meal was always the Casado-a typical dish made with lightly broiled fish, black beans, rice and salad at Soda Tica.
There is even a French Bakery and Café that we frequented regularly and walked to from our home.
For recreational needs there are several surf camps in town as well as ATV rentals, zip line tours, turtle watching at Ostional National Park, horseback riding on the beach and our beach-Playa Pelada is only a 3 minute walk from our home.
Our home is well appointed with hand made solid teak furniture and there are two bedrooms downstairs and a loft upstairs and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare full gourmet meals.
We would love to share this amazing place with others and if you are interested, you can look it up at www.vrbo.com/208021 or feel free to drop me an email at judithricci@comcast.net
